Scientists at UCLA have discovered the secret to what makes items buzz worthy to people. Brain MRI scans that were run on 19 students revealed that informational items deemed worthy of sharing with others stimulate the temporoparietal junction area of the brain more than usual. Understanding more about this type of activity in the brain could add great efficiencies to marketing campaigns in the future.
