Recent surveys studied marketing trends for dental practices and found that, despite the expected rise in internet marketing, traditional methods such as direct mail remain viable. Facebook is now included in the marketing plans of 65% of dental practitioners, with Google Plus, Twitter, and LinkedIn expected to follow suit. But most respondents also planned to increase budgets in the areas of newsletters, practice brochures and lunch-and-learns. Taken as a whole, the findings show that dentists are committed to a balance between digital and traditional marketing methods.
