The results of this year’s State of Marketing Measurement Survey are out, revealing that 67% of the responding companies’ CEOs want regular reports from their marketing people on marketing performance metrics. With content marketing becoming a marketing staple, 68% of marketing teams now include a dedicated content developer. A quarter of the marketing teams also now include a ‘growth hacker,’ a marketing professional who understands the role of technology and tracks metrics. And nearly half of the marketing departments now track the ways new customers are referred.
