Seemingly there is somewhat of a territorial rivalry between professional baseball teams; the Orioles and the Washington Nationals. Both ball clubs share and are recognized on the east coast from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. The rivalry is about membership in a professional athletic network where team interests have overlapped. The rivalry for the east coast territory is similar to the NFL’s Ravens and Washington Redskins domination on the east coast. The NFL teams compromised and claimed presence in different counties, which is what the Orioles and  the Washington Nationals could result to as a resolution to territorial rights.
