The most important piece of having multiple and successful sales are following up and maintaining leads—having good leads means a company must have some success in marketing. Both sales and marketing, many times, share the responsibilities of failure, but sometimes one takes the credit over the other when experiencing success.

True success depends on both, sales and marketing. Marketing must get the leads, and sales needs to follow up with the leads to close the deal. They both must align with the customer’s needs, and desires to be a success.
