Micro-Genre marketing is the concept of grouping like product together so that less common ones will be viewed along side the ones that are more likely to be seen on a daily basis. Netflix uses this to show movies that are not commonly watched to a larger populace than would normally see them in their every day searches. This has also been proven successful in other areas of marketing as well.
