People say they don’t like direct marketing. At the same time, they happily wait in line for hours to buy Apple products and love the commercials. Many consumers don’t want to be given a “purpose” when they consider buying a product, they don’t want pop-up ads or free newsletters. Direct marketing is back in fashion, and being used again by McDonalds and other successful businesses, because it doesn’t waste people’s time.
