Google is launching into new territory, at least on its Google+ social media site, by allowing marketers to post ads. These units, known as +Posts, will have characteristics similar to user post, such as the +1 option, similar to Facebook’s “likes.” Advertisers will only be charged for the ads when users hover over the ad long enough for it to expand.
