Google Glass, set to come out some time in 2014, may revolutionize marketing in ways that have yet to be acknowledged. Some of these new features and advertising methods will be quite different from current industry standards. This includes new Google policies of applications being utility rather than advertisements based, strict privacy standards for advertisers, advertising without cluttering Glass, and a major emphasis on “smart content.” Additionally, Google Glass will not be a reality-altering device, but instead a new platform for content and information.
